
INTERIOR CHECKLIST
KITCHEN
Ensure that there is no clutter on top of counters and that any small appliance is stored away. Wipe down all surfaces including stove tops, ovens, refrigerators, microwaves, and countertops. Staging with plates, cups, small plants or utensils is acceptable and should blend in without causing a distraction. Please fold all kitchen towels properly. Hide any trash cans.
LIVING ROOM
Remove any personal photos from walls that you do not wish to be shown in photos. Remove excessive pillows from couches and chairs. One or two blankets are fine as long as they do not distract from photo or have prints. Clean off surfaces and ensure that there is no trash around the area. Check all lights and make sure that there is a working light bulb in each fixture.
BATHROOMS
Remove mats and rugs from bathroom floors. Clean and remove any products from the counter and sinks. Wipe down the mirror and ensure that there are no streaks visible. Remove any shampoos, soaps, and personal items from shower. Toilet lids need to be down and toilet cleaned.
BEDROOMS
Ensure that all beds are made and blankets are neatly folded. Cover pillows with either a pillow cover or under the bed blankets. Remove all clothing and clutter from floors. Remove any personal belongings from desks, dressers, nightstands, and bed. Vacuum carpet if applicable.
LAUNDRY ROOMS
Remove any hampers and clothing from the room. Store away detergents. Remove any cleaning supplies from view (mops, brooms, buckets, etc.).
EXTERIOR CHECKLIST
FRONT YARD
Park cars either inside the garage or on the opposite side of the street. Clean driveway with pressure washer or hose to remove any debris. Hide trash cans and water hoses. Remove any signs or flags from the exterior of home. Wipe down garage door to remove dirt.
LAWNS
Mow lawns day before photoshoot. Clean up leaves and trash from the yard. Remove weeds from yard.
BACKYARD
Clean up and organize any outdoor furniture. Clean up any dog droppings from the yard. Remove any cobwebs from furniture and patios. Don’t turn on any sprinklers the day of shoot.
POOL CLEANUP
Skim and brush pool morning of shoot. Remove the pool vacuum cleaner and hoses and store away out of view.
